Drawing up the
bobbin thread
1. Hold the end of the
needle thread with
your left hand.
2. Turn the balance
wheel slowly
towards you with
your right hand until
the needle goes
down and comes up.
Then stop the
balance wheel when
the take-up lever is
at its highest
position. Lightly
draw up the needle
thread forming a
loop with the bobbin
thread.
3. Pull about 15 cm. (6
inches) of both
threads away from
you under the
presser foot.

Heraufholen des
Unterfadens
1. Halten Sie das Ende
de Oberfadens mit
Ihrer linken Hand
fest.
2. Drehen Sie das
Handrad mit der
rechten Hand zu sich
bis die Nadel sich
nach unten und
wieder nach oben
bewegt. Dann
stoppen Sie das
Handrad sobald der
Gelenkfadenhebel
auf seiner höchsten
Position ist. Ziehen
Sie den Oberfaden
leicht nach oben,
sodass der
Unterfaden eine
Schlinge bildet.
3. Ziehen Sie ca. 15
cm. der beiden
Fäden unter dem
Pressehrfuß heraus.

Alalangan nostaminen
Jotta voitaisiin ommella,
täytyy alalanka vetää
ylös. Pidä ylälangasta
kiinni vasemmalla
kädellä käsipyörästä
itseesi päin niin kauan,
että neula käy alhaalla ja
langannostaja nousee
ylimpään asentoonsa.
Vedä sitten hitaasti
ylälangasta kunnes
alalanka nousee ylös.

Vie sekä ylä-että
alalanka paininjalan
kautta taakse ja jätä ne
roikkumaan tarpeeksi
pitkinä (noin 10 – 15
cm).
