Hemming
Raise the foot and the
needle to its highest
position. Replace the foot
with the hemmer foot.
Fold over the fabric edge by
about 3mm (1/8 inches )
and place it under the foot.
Secure the folded edge with
a few stitches. Take out the
workpiece and draw the
hem into the hemmer foot
by pulling on threads.
Lower the foot and sew the
hem. During sewing, fold
the fabric to the left a little
and allow it to run into the
hemmer foot.
Make sure that the fabric
does not move under the
right half of the foot. The
fabric must be fed into scoll
of the hemmer sufficiently
so that the workpiece edge
runs freely through the
groove under the foot.
Sämen
Stellen Sie den Fuβ und die
Nadel auf ihre höchste
Position. Ersetzen Sie den
Fuβ mit dem Säumerfuβ.
Schlagen Sie die stoffkante
ca. 3 mm um und legen Sie
diese unter den fuβ.
Sichern Sie die gefaltete
kante mit einigen Stichen
ab. Ziehen Sie das Nähgut
heraus und pressen Sie den
Saum in den säumerfuβ
laufen zu lassen.
Achten Sie, daβ sich der
Stoff muβ ausreichend in
die säumertüte transportiert
werden, sodaβ die
stoffkanten frei durch die
Rille unter dem Fuβ laufen
können.
Päärmäys
Päärmäysjalka on
tarkoitettu erityisesti
ohuitten kankaitten
ompeluun. Reunan on
oltava leikattu suoraksi.
Taita kangas kuvan ohjeen
mukaan, kiinnitä alku
muutamalla pistolla ja ohjaa
päärme sitten paininjalan
kierukkaan. Ompele
rauhallisesti.
Useimmissa materiaaleissa
valmiiksi taitettuna ohjattu
päärme on helpommin
toteutettavissa yleisjalalla.
