8.6. Code searching by brand
name
This function gives you the option of searching by
brand name. You can find the brand name in the code
list under "Code search by brand name".
 Switch on the device to be addressed.
 Press the Setup button for approx. 3 seconds until
CODE SET appears in the display.
 Press OK. LIST CODES now appears in the dis-
play.
 Press  (three times) to access the
BRAND CODE menu.
 Press OK. MODE KEY appears on the display.
 Press the desired source key (TV, VCR, DVD, CD, SAT,
AUX1/2/3, SAT). The display shows DEVICE TV
(device? TV).
 Use the arrows / to select the device type to
be programmed on this source key. (If you select
"TV" it is not possible to select a device type be-
cause only TV codes can be programmed on the TV
source key).
 Press OK. The BRAND CODES 1–6? query will
appear.
 Press a numeric button to select the relevant ven-
dor from the following list:
