12. Macros

You can use macros to save a chain of commands, i.e.
to automatically perform a sequence of functions. You
can program three macros and store them on the nu-
meric buttons 1 , 2 and 3 .
These three numeric buttons have the additional la-
bels TV, VCR, DVD, so that you can assign macros ac-
cordingly.
Each macro can include up to ten button commands.
A macro can include different devices. You can, for ex-
ample, switch on the TV set, select the channel, switch
on the video recorder and enable the recording func-
tion simply by pressing the M A C R O button and the
selected numeric button 1 , 2 or 3 .
Press S E T U P to quit the macro programming pro-
cess before the process is complete. In this case, the
macro will not be saved.
