4.3. Detailed descriptions of configu-
rations steps
Reset (step 00):
A reset reinstates all default values for the
keypad and recalibrates the device.
Illumination (step 01):
If the value for illumination is set to 0, the
keypad's LEDs will be turned off. The optic
signal for a valid key activation is not affected
through this setting.
Optic signal (step 02):
If the optic signal is turned off, key activation
will not be confirmed by a flashing display.
Brightness (step 03):
The display brightness increases with higher
values. When set to value 0 display brightness
is dimmed to a minimum, value 9 indicates
maximum brightness.
Wipe (step 04):
Activating this function will automatically
turn off the device when it is being cleaned
or wiped. After an additional 5 seconds, the
display will flash three times to indicate its
automatic return to operational.
Please note: Activating two or more keys at
the same time will be recognized as wiping
and the device will consequently turn off for
5 seconds.
Sensitivity (step 20):
A higher value indicates less sensitivity: 9
indicates the lowest sensitivity, 5 the highest.
