For cleaning the housing, use only a dry, lint-free rag. Never use
cleaning agents!
Use of the device other than previously described will result in da-
mage to the device, and also implies risks, such as short circuits,
etc.! No part of the product must be changed or modified in any
way, and the housing must not be opened!
It is mandatory to read the Notes on Safety!
Notes on Safety
In case of damage caused by non-observance of
the operating instructions, claims under the war-
ranty are null and void! We accept no liability for re-
sultant damage!
Please observe everything contained in these operating instruc-
tions! In case of difficulty with installing and operating the Thermo-
meter, please contact our Service Hotline!
The Thermometer with Timer is not a toy! The device must be kept
away from children!
To maintain accuracy when measuring temperatures, you should
make sure that additional sources of heat, such as radiation from
the sun, domestic radiators, heat controllers, ovens, etc. and all
other devices which generate heat, remain at a safe distance from
the probe!
Make absolutely sure that nothing falls on the Thermometer with
Timer, and that no fluid penetrates through the openings into the
interior of the housing!
In the workplace, the accident prevention measures of the Associa-
tion of Employer's Liability Insurance for electrical plant and opera-
ting material must be observed!
