LED at the MASTER flashes red once a

To achieve improved exchange
of air, it is appropriate to also
open the windows when ventila-
tion/aeration is activated.
4.3.3.2 Cross-flow ventilation
In manual operation, the cross-flow vent-
ilation function can be activated. In this
case, the ventilation units operate perman-
ently at the lowest ventilation speed.
When cross-flow ventilation is activated,
the ventilation units continuously create an
air flow. The direction of the air flow can be
controlled using the two buttons:
– The MASTER and the ventilation units
(which work synchronously) ventilate,
while all other ventilation units aerate.
– The MASTER and the ventilation units
(which work synchronously) aerate,
while all other ventilation units ventilate.
Feedback:
– When activating the cross-flow ventila-
tion, the LED at the MASTER flashes
red twice and then flashes red twice
more after three seconds.
– If the cross-flow ventilation is active, the
LED at the MASTER flashes red once a
minute.

4.4 Functions

4.4.1 Humidity
You can set the limit value for the sensor
monitoring of the relative air humidity to
three levels.
The sensor monitoring is only active while
the automatic and eco operating modes
are active.
The levels that can be selected are:

– Low: 40%
– Medium: 55% (default setting)
– High: 70%
Feedback:
– After selecting the limit value for the
air humidity, the LED at the MASTER
flashes red several times (one flash for
each air humidity level).
Note
When you set the limit value for the
air humidity for the first time, the
current air humidity is measured.
During this measurement, it may
be the case that the ventilation
units switch to ventilation mode.
4.4.2 Ventilation speed
You can set the ventilation speed for
manual mode to various levels.
Applicability: VAZ CPC
The ventilation speed can be set to three
levels.
Applicability: VAZ CPCW
The ventilation speed can be set to five
levels.
Feedback:
– After selecting the ventilation speed in
manual mode, the LED on the MASTER
flashes white several times (one flash
for each ventilation level).
5 Troubleshooting
Note
All VAR 60 DW ventilation units
are set up as MASTER units at the
factory.
Applicability: VAZ CPCW
Conditions: The control does not connect to the
MASTER.
