SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

INTENDED USE

This device is only designed for making ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yoghurt.
Please read the instruction manual carefully prior to the first use and keep it.
1. This device can be used by child-
ren aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and under-
stand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without
supervision.
2. Children under the age of 3 should
stay away from the device or be
kept under supervision at all time.
3. Children between the age of 3 and
8 should only turn the device on
and off if it is in its intended normal
operating position, they are under
supervision, or have been instructed
regarding the safe use and have
understood the potential dangers.
Children between the age of 3 and
8 should not plug the device in nor
operate, clean, or maintain it. Child-
ren should be under supervision to
make sure that they are not playing
with the device.
4. Only connect the device to an
alternating current in accordance
with the type plate.
5. If the power cable of this device is
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its customer ser-
vice or a similarly qualified person to
avoid any risks.
6. This device may not be operated
with an external timer or a
remote-control system.
7. After use, before cleaning or in case
of disturbances during operation,
always pull the power plug.
8. Keep the air vents of the housing
and inside the device clear to ensure
a sufficient heat output.
9. Do not push the power button too
many times in a row. At least 5
minutes must have passed to avoid
damages to the compressor.
10. Metallic objects or electronic
objects may not be held into the
device to avoid fire or a short
circuit.
