Emptying the Dirt Water Reservoir
Warning
Please observe the local provisions regard-
ing the wastewater treatment.
 Take the dirt water discharge hose from
the support and lower above a suited
collection device.
 Crush or bend the dosing equipment.
 Open the lid of the dosing equipment.
 Drain off the dirt water - regulate the
water quantity by pressing or bending.
 The rinse the dirt water reservoir with
clear water.
Emptying the Fresh Water Tank
 Open the drain tap for fresh water.

Maintenance and care

Danger
Risk of injury! Before carrying out any tasks
on the machine, set the main key to "0" and
remove key and plug of the charger.
Warning
Risk of damage to the appliance on ac-
count of water leakage. Drain out dirt water
and the remaining free water before work-
ing at the machine.

Maintenance schedule

After the work
Warning
Risk of damage. Do not wash down the ap-
pliance with water and do not use aggres-
sive detergents.
 Drain off dirt water.
 Rinse the dirt water reservoir with clear
water.
 Only with R cleaning head Remove bulk
waste container and empty it.
 Clean the outside of the appliance with
a damp cloth which has been soaked in
mild detergent.
 Check the fluff filter, clean if required
 Clean the vacuum lips on the vacuum
bar, replace if required
 Check the brushes for wear, replace if
required.
 Charge battery if required.

Monthly
 Check battery pole for oxidation; brush
it if required and lubricate it using pole
grease. Ensure that the connection ca-
ble sits firmly.
 Check the function of the immobilizing
brake.
 Check the condition of the seals be-
tween dirt water reservoir and cover, re-
place if required.
 Check the acid density of the cells if the
batteries are not maintenance-free bat-
teries.
 Clean the brush tunnel (only R cleaning
head)
Yearly
 Have the prescribed inspection carried
out by the customer service.

Maintenance Works

Turn or replace vacuum lips
 Remove the vacuum bar.
 Unscrew the star grips.
 Remove the plastic parts.
 Remove the vacuum lips.
 Turn the vacuum lips or insert new ones.
 Insert the plastic parts.
 Screw in and tighten the star grips.
Replacing the brush rollers
 Lift the cleaning head.
 Loosen the lock of the wiper flap.
 Push the bearing lid down and remove.
 Pull out the brush roller.
 Insert a new brush roller.
 Reassemble the bearing lid in the re-
verse sequence.
 Repeat process on the opposite side.
Replacing the Disk Brushes
 Lift the cleaning head.
 Press the pedal for changing the brush-
es downward beyond its resistance.
 Pull the disc brush out of the side below
the cleaning head.
 Hold the new disc brush under the
cleaning head, push upward and lock.

Clean the fresh water filter

1 Locking valve

 Close locking tap.
 Unscrew filter cup; change/ replace fil-
ter inlay.
 Replace the filter cup.
Open locking tap.
Install cleaning head
 Release the screw for locking the tank
and swing up the tank.
1 Bore for D 75 cleaning head
2 Bore for other cleaning heads
3 Push bar
 Check whether the push rods are at-
tached to the bore on the appliance that
matches the respective cleaning head.
 If necessary, loosen the nuts and attach
the push rods to the other bore.
 Only tighten the nuts loosely so that the
push rods can still move.
 R cleaning head: Unscrew the star han-
dle and remove the lid.
