Alerting
If fire smoke develops in the ambient air, the device alerts with a loud
alarm signal:
Signal tone
Triggers a loud, repeated
signal twice per second
Deactivation
In order to mute the alarm for some 10 minutes, also in case of spurious
alarms, press the detector head with your hand or, for example, with
a stick, a broomstick or similar:

Press the detector head until the
loud warning tone is silenced

During mute switching, the SD remains activated with reduced
sensitivity and provides warnings again in case of increasing
smoke concentration.
