Techem smoke detector basic – operating instructions
General safety instructions
• The SD is supplied with a permanently installed battery with suffi-
cient capacity for the full period of use. – Changing the battery is
not necessary and also non-permissible.
• When testing the alarm, the SD generates a loud, strident signal.
Make sure to keep a distance of at least 60 cm between the SD and
your ears.
How does the smoke detector work?
Normal operation
Under normal operating conditions, the smoke detector needs not be
operated:
