2.3 HDMI connection

High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a technology which transmits non-compressed
video data as well as audio data.
Connect the HDMI cable to the monitor's HDMI socket and to the HDMI output of the device
you wish to connect.
Picture display on the connected device:
Switch on the monitor and the connected device. Then press the "Source" key on the remote
control until „HDMI" is displayed on the monitor.
2.4. S-Video
If you wish to display a S-vidoe source, please select „S-Video" in the source menu.

3. Notes on connecting a monitor to a computer

Please note the following safety instructions:
All used cables have to be connected safely and securely.
Pull all cable plugs tight. If not, a cable might get loose in case of vibrations.
Do not expose the cables to heat or sharp edges to prevent them from being
damaged.

4. Monitor testing

Before switching on and testing the monitor, please ensure that all cables are properly
connected and routed and that the cable plugs are tightened. For testing the monitor, please
proceed as follows:
Turn on the monitor. Use the „Power" key on the monitor (also see chapter 1.2).
Turn on the video source.
The video picture should be displayed now. If not, turn on the monitor. The LED
indicator in the lower right corner should light green. If the LED is red, there is power
but now video signal.
The video picture should be centered on the monitor screen. Use the monitor keax
(see chapter 1.2) to adjust the picture (if necessary).
Adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the picture and its settings (contrast,
brightness).
