Explanation

Explanation
Operating temperature not yet reached.
Appliance is ready for use.
Indicates the brewing strength set, adjus-
table with brewing strength regulator keys.
Bean container is set to ground coffee
or extraction position.
Indicates the cup filling volume, use the
water quantity regulator to adjust.
Water reservoir empty. Fill with water
and replace. Continue operation by
pressing the start key. It can happen
that air is trapped between the pump
and the water reservoir. In this case,
confirm repeatedly via the start key
until the new water supply is drawn.
Coffee grounds container full. Take
care when emptying that the service
door is closed and the machine swit-
ched on. Wait about 5 seconds before
replacing the grounds container.
Coffee grounds container not fitted
or not properly inserted.
Appliance must be decalcified.
Decalcifying programme running.
Appliance needs cleaning.
Cleaning programme running.
Appliance being rinsed.
The service door was opened or
Auto-Shut-Off function is activated.
The service door (6) was open during
startup. Close service door and
confirm with Start.
The brewing unit is overcharged. Switch
the appliance off and remove the bre-
wing unit. Remove the ground coffee
and replace the brewing unit. The appli-
ance is now ready for operation again.
