To set the PMR as the Baby Monitor:
In Baby Monitor mode, different functions are disabled (accept Button
Lock, Menu and On/Off function). Only when the Baby Monitor mode is
disabled, all functions can be used again.
To deactivate the Baby Monitor:
If in Baby Monitor mode an earpiece is plugged in, then the Baby Monitor
mode will be disabled when pressing the PTT - button

A call tone alerts others that you want to start talking.
