f) Setting the Volume/Muting

If the OSD menu is not displayed on the screen, you can use the buttons „t" or „u" on the IR-remote
control or „UP/+" and „DOWN/-" on the monitor to set the volume.
The corresponding display is shown on the screen.
The button „ " on the IR remote control may be used to mute the audio playback (this function is not
available via the buttons of the monitor).
g) Other Functions
• Use the button „FREEZE" of the IR remote control to „freeze" the current picture (still) or to resume it.
• Use the button „PICTURE" on the IR remote control to choose between different settings for colour/
contrast/brightness („USER", „STANDARD", „SOFT" and „VIVID").
The colour/contrast/brightness values for the selection „USER" can be set as desired in the OSD menu.
• For reasons of safety (since the monitor is intended specifically for operation as a surveillance monitor),
the monitor activates automatically when connected to operating voltage (or after interruption of opera-
ting voltage). The last input selected is always selected as video input in this case.
