B. Replacing the Battery
Warning
To avoid false readings, which could lead to possible
electric shock or personal injury, replace the battery as
soon as the battery indicator appears.
Make sure the transformer jaw and the test leads are
disconnected from the circuit being tested before
opening the case bottom.
To replace the batttery:
1. Turn the Meter off and remove all connections from
the input terminals.
2. Turn the Meter´s case top down.
3. Remove the screw from the battery compartment
and separate the battery compartment from the case
bottom.
4. Remove the old battery from the battery
compartment.
5. Replace the battery with 2pcs of new 1.5V (AAA).
6. Rejoin the case bottom and the battery compartment
and reinstall the screw.
Batteries and accumulators are not to be dis-
posed of in the normal house waste bin. Every
user is legally obliged, to hand over all batteries
and accumulators, irrespective of whether or not
they contain harmful substances to a communal
collection point in the local town area or to a trade dealer
so that they can be disposed of in an orderly environmen-
tally friendly manner. Batteries and accumulators should
only be handed over when they are completely discharged!
The warranty information does not apply to possibly provi-
ded or installed batteries.

WARRANTY
During manufacturing this REV product is passed through
several quality testing stations which are set up with newest
technology. Should nevertheless a defect arise, REV offers a
warranty to the following extent:
1. The duration of the warranty is 24 months after the date
of purchase.
2. The unit is either repaired or replaced by REV free of
charge or if it can be shown that it has become unusable
during the warranty period due to a manufacturing or
material defect.
3. The liability does not cover transport damages or dama
ged incurred through defective installation.
4. If REV repudiates the warranty claim and no objection
is made within 6 months, the right to repair becomes
time-barred.
5. In a warranty case the unit must be sent to the dealer or
REV together with the sales slip and a short description
of the defect.
6. If there is no proof for a warranty liability being in place,
any repair carried out will be invoiced.
