MAINTENANCE
This section provides basic maintenance information
including battery replacement instruction.
Warning
Do not attempt to repair or service your Meter unless
you are qualified to do so and have the relevant
calibration, performance test, and service information.
To avoid electrical shock or damage to the Meter, do
not get water inside the case.
A. General Service
• Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild
detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents.
• Clean the terminals with cotton bar with
detergent, as dirt or moisture in the terminals can
affect readings.
• Turn the Meter power off when it is not in use.
• Take out the battery when it is not used for a long
time.
• Do not use or place the Meter in a place of humidity,
high temperature, explosive, inflammable and strong
magnetic field.
WEEE-reference of disposal
In accordance with European defaults used electrical
and electronics devices may no more be given to
the unsorted waste. The symbol of the waste bin on
wheels refers to the necessity of separate collection.
Please help with environmental protection and see to it
that this device is given to the for this purpose designated
systems of waste sorting if you do not use it any longer.
