BEDIENUNG
1. Drücken Sie die Taste MODE für 2 Sekunden, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Auf dem Display
erscheinen die Anzeigen für Windgeschwindigkeit, Temperatur und Batterie, das Display wird für 10
Sekunden beleuchtet.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste MODE für mehr als 3 Sekunden bis „m/s" zu blinken beginnt. Danach drücken
Sie mehrmals die Taste SET, um die gewünschte Geschwindigkeits-Einheit auszuwählen, danach
MODE, um zu bestätigen.
Um den Modus (MAX = maximal / AVG = durchschnittlich / CU = aktuell) auszuwählen, drücken
Sie erneut mehrmals SET, anschliessend MODE zur Bestätigung. Die Einstellung wird nach dem
Ausschalten gespeichert, muss allerdings bei Batteriewechsel erneut ausgewählt werden.
3. Um die Einheit für die Temperaturmessung umzustellen, entnehmen Sie das Gerät der Schutzhülle.
Danach finden Sie auf der Rückseite den Schalter. Drücken Sie mit einem spitzen Gegenstand in die
Öffnung, um die Einheit umzustellen.
4. Nachdem Sie eine beliebige Taste gedrückt haben, wird das Display für 10 Sekunden beleuchtet.
5. Sobald sich das Windrad im Gerät dreht, werden Windgeschwindigkeit, Temperatur und die Beaufort-
Skala angezeigt. Ist die Temperatur unter 0°C, so wird WIND CHILL als Frostwarnung angezeigt.
6. Um das Gerät auszuschalten, drücken Sie die Tasten MODE und SET gleichzeitig.
(Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch nach 14 Minuten Inaktivität ab).
7. Bitte wechseln Sie die Batterie, sobald das Symbol

ENTSORGUNG
Gebrauchte Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte dürfen gemäß europäischer Vorgaben nicht mehr zum
unsortierten Abfall gegeben werden. Das Symbol der Abfalltonne auf Rädern weist auf die
Notwendigkeit der getrennten Sammlung hin. Helfen auch Sie mit beim Umweltschutz und sorgen
dafür, dieses Gerät, wenn Sie es nicht mehr nutzen, in die hierfür vorgesehenen Systeme der
Getrenntsammlung zu geben. RICHTLINIE 2012/19/EU DES EUROPÄISCHEN PARLAMENTS UND DES
RATES vom 04. Juli 2012 über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte.
BATTERIE
Batterien und Akkus dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpflichtet, alle
Batterien und Akkus, egal ob sie Schadstoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei einer Sammelstelle seiner
Gemeinde/seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung
zugeführt werden können. Batterien und Akkus bitte nur in entladenem Zustand abgeben!
Garantieangaben gelten nicht für evtl. mitgelieferte oder eingebaute Batterien.
BATTERIEWECHSEL
Entfernen Sie die rote Schutzhülle vom Gehäuse des Anemometers. Auf der Rückseite des Gerätes
finden Sie nun einen Deckel des Batteriefachs vor. Öffnen Sie diesen z.B. mit einer Münze in dem Sie
den Batteriefachdeckel in die eingezeichnete Richtung drehen. Nun können Sie den Deckel mit Hilfe
eines Schraubendrehers oder per Hand über die Einkerbung im Gehäuse lösen.
Legen Sie nun eine CR2032 3V Batterieknopfzelle in das Batteriefach und achten Sie dabei auf die
richtige Polung. Wiederholen Sie nun den Vorgang in umgekehrter Reihenfolge um das Gerät wieder
einsatzfähig zu machen.
GARANTIE
Dieses REV-Produkt durchläuft während der Fertigung mehrere, nach neuesten Techniken aufgebaute
Prüfstationen. Sollte dennoch ein Mangel auftreten, leistet REV im nachfolgenden Umfang Gewähr:
1. Die Dauer der Garantie beträgt 24 Monate ab dem Kaufdatum.
2. Das Gerät wird von REV entweder unentgeltlich nachgebessert oder ausgetauscht, wenn es innerhalb
der Gewährleistungspflicht nachweisbar wegen eines Fertigungs- oder Materialfehlers unbrauchbar
wird.
3. Die Haftung erstreckt sich nicht auf Transportschäden sowie auf Schäden, die durch fehlerhafte
Installation entstehen.
4. Wird innerhalb von 6 Monaten nach Nichtanerkennung des Haftungsfalles durch REV kein
Widerspruch eingelegt, verjährt das Recht auf Nachbesserung.
5. Im Gewährleistungsfall ist das Gerät zusammen mit dem Kaufbeleg und einer kurzen
Mangelbeschreibung an den Händler oder REV zu senden.
6. Ohne Garantienachweis erfolgt Nachbesserung ausschließlich gegen Berechnung.

1. Turn on: Press "MODE" button for 2 seconds to turn on the unit. LCD will display air velocity,
temperature and battery icon. LCD backlight will last for 10 seconds.
2. Set unit of air velocity and measuring mode:
Press "MODE" button more than 3 seconds until "m/s" starts to blink. Press "SET" button to select
desired air velocity unit. To confirm the unit, press "MODE" button. For setting MAX/AVG/CU mode,
press "SET" button again and again until CU/MAX/AVG blink, then press "MODE" button to confirm.
1) The setting will be stored when turn off the unit. But if you change the battery, the setting will go
back to the factory preset.
2) Unit of Air velocity: m/s, Km/hr, ft/min, Knots, mph
3) Measuring mode: CU: current air velocity
MAX: max air velocity / AVG: average air velocity
3. Set temperature unit:
Temperature switch key (°C/°F) conceal in the rear cabinet, please use a little push-pin to press the
key for °C/°F conversion.
4. Backlight display: The backlight will be activated for 10 seconds by press any key
5. Mesurement: when the wind vane (impeller) turns, LCD will instand display wind speed, temperature
and beaufort scale. When temperature below 0°C, "WIND CHILL" will be shown on the display.

In accordance with European defaults used electrical and electronics devices may no more be given to
the unsorted waste. The symbol of the waste bin on wheels refers to the necessity of separate collection.
Please help with environmental protection and see to it that this device is given to the for this purpose
designated systems of waste sorting if you do not use it any longer.
GUIDELINE 2012/19/EU of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND the COUNCIL of July 04th 2012 about
electrical and electronics old devices.
Batteries and accumulators are not to be disposed of in the normal house waste bin. Every user
is legally obliged, to hand over all batteries and accumulators, irrespective of whether or not they contain
harmful substances to a communal collection point in the local town area or to a trade dealer so that they
can be disposed of in an orderly environmentally friendly manner. Batteries and accumulators should
only be handed over when they are completely discharged!
The warranty information does not apply to possibly provided or installed batteries.
Remove the red protective cover from the housing of the anemometer. On the reverse of the device you
will find a cover for the battery compartment. Open this with a coin (for example), by turning the battery
compartment lid in the indicated direction. You can now remove the lid from the housing by hand or with
the help of a screwdriver. Next insert a CR2032 3V battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the
correct polarity. Repeat this process in reverse order to make the device ready for use again.
During manufacturing this REV product is passed through several quality testing stations which are set
up with newest technology. Should nevertheless a defect arise, REV offers a warranty to the following
extent:
1. The duration of the warranty is 24 months after the date of purchase.
2. The unit is either repaired or replaced by REV free of charge or if it can be shown that it has become
unusable during the warranty period due to a manufacturing or material defect.
3. The liability does not cover transport damages or damaged incurred through defective installation.
4. If REV repudiates the warranty claim and no objection is made within 6 months, the right to repair
becomes time-barred.
5. In a warranty case the unit must be sent to the dealer or REV together with the sales slip and a short
description of the defect.
6. If there is no proof for a warranty liability being in place, any repair carried out will be invoiced.
