Removing the protective cap
First of all, the "wind egg" is unlatched by turning
in the protective cap (approx. 5 mm in the direction
of the arrow). Without exerting any force on the
propeller, the "wind egg" is carefully removed in
the lengthwise direction.
Replacing the protective cap
Guide ribs for the propeller are to be found in the
protective cap. When replacing the cap, care must
be taken to ensure that the propeller is situated in
these guide ribs. In the end position, the protective
cap latches audibly into place.
4. Operation
Switching on and off
The "Temp" button is pressed briefl y to switch on.
After the display test, i.e. all segments are activated
for 2 seconds, the measuring functions that were
last activated will be displayed. The automatic
switch-off feature "Auto Power Off" switches the
unit off automatically 5 minutes after the last time
a button was pressed. The "Auto Power Off" func-
tion can of course also be switched off: press the
"Temp" button when switching on until "noA" (no
Auto Power Off) appears in the display.
The wind gauge is now permanently switched
on and must be switched off again manually. To
switch off manually, the "Temp" button must be
held pressed for approx. 3 seconds until the dis-
play goes off.
