Safety information

When installing, connecting and operating the telephone, the following instructions must be
observed:
• Only plug the connection cable into sockets intended for it.
• Lay the connection cable where it cannot cause accidents. Connected cables must not be
placed under excessive mechanical strain.
• Install the unit well away from sources of electrical interference.
• Only fit accessories that are approved for use with this unit.
• Never open up the unit yourself. Do not touch the plug contacts with sharp or metallic
objects.
• Clean the unit only with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
• Protect the unit from damp, dust, fluids and vapour.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
• Do not use the unit in areas where there is a risk of explosion.
• Use only the original telephone connection cable.
• Rubber feet of the Phone:
Your phone has been manufactured for general use. Some chemicals found in furniture
polish or other furniture care products may alter the substance of the rubber feet of the
phone. Due to this influence it may be possible that the rubber feet of the telephone may
leave some marks. We will not accept any liability for any of such occurrences. With refe-
rence to new furniture or polished furniture we would suggest to use a non-slip protective
matt for your telephone.
