Cleaning/replacing the flat pleated
Note: With normal use, clean the flat pleat-
ed filter weekly, or even earlier if the suction
performance is decreasing.
Note: Use a commercially available house-
hold sponge made of soft material in order
to avoid damaging the coated lamellae.
Unlock the bonnet, swivel it upwards and
snap it in place at the locking devices.
Unlock and remove the filter casing.
Take out the flat folded filter.

Clean the individual lamellae of the flat
pleated filter under running water using
the sponge.
Allow the filter to dry completely.
Replace the flat pleated filter at least
every 12 months with normal use, re-
place earlier as necessary.
Note: The flat pleated filter must be dis-
posed of in the residual waste.
Clean the fluff filter
Unlock the bonnet, swivel it upwards and
snap it in place at the locking devices.
Unlock and remove the filter casing.
Take out the flat folded filter.
Unscrew the swimmer.
Clean the fluff filter.
Cleaning the fresh water sieve
Unscrew the fresh water sieve incl. the
lid.
Clean the fresh water sieve.
Cleaning the nozzle
Unscrew the covering nut.
Clean nozzle mouthpiece.
Troubleshooting
Danger
Danger of injury by electric shock.

First pull out the plug from the mains be-
fore carrying out any tasks on the ma-
chine.

Get the electrical components checked

and repaired only by authorised cus-
tomer service persons.
Appliance is not working
Check the receptacle and the fuse of
the power supply.
Check the power cable and the power
plug of the device.
Turn on the appliance.
Device is not sucking in detergent
Clean the fresh water sieve.
Check the spray hose.
Insufficient working pressure
Clean or replace nozzle tip.
Heater not working
Fill up fresh water reservoir.
Set rotary switch to operating mode
with heating.
Float switch in the fresh water tank is
jammed. Repair float switch.
Safety thermostat tripped as excessive-
ly hot water was filled into the fresh wa-
ter tank. Inform aftersales service.
Spray stream one-sided
Clean nozzle mouthpiece.
Insufficient vacuum performance
Check the bonnet for proper seating.
Clean the seal of the bonnet and the
seating on the wastewater container.
Clean the fluff filter.
Check suction hose for blockages;
clean if required.
Check the swimmer.
Check for proper installation of the flat
pleated filter.
Clean the flat pleated filter, replace if
necessary.
Allow the flat pleated filter to dry, or in-
sert a new, dry flat pleated filter.
