diagram below.

Notes
1. Do not connect cables to blank pins.
2. Apply a supply voltage of DC +12 to 24 V to +Vcc for the PL81, or DC +5 V for the
PL82. Pins 9, 18 and 20 are connected inside the detector.
3. 0 V is the circuit GND, and is not connected to the frame GND.
Pins 12, 14 and 16 are connected inside the detector.
4. Connect these pins only when using the PL81. Do not connect these pins when
using other models.
5. Connect these pins only when using the PL82. Do not connect these pins when
using other models.
6. Connect power cables to all +Vcc and 0 V connector pins.
7. Use a cable with a thickness of AWG20 or 22 and a length of 30 m or less. Make
sure the soldering does not touch the plug case.
• Use a shielded cable as shown below for connection to the output connector.
• The shielded wire on the detector unit side of the cable should be fastened and fixed
together with the cable to the cable clamp of the connector case.
Also, keep the cable as short as possible to prevent noise from entering.
Use an output cable with a thickness of AWG26 or 28 and a length of 30 m or less.
Use a cable with a line capacitance of 150
