hest sensitivity setting) to "L3" (lowest sensitivity setting). The "L1"
setting is ideal in a quiet environment. The "L3" setting is ideal in
an environment where there is a high level of background noise.
Activate voice control (VOX):
Press the "F" key for 2 seconds. "VOX" appears on the display to
indicate that voice control has been activated. Pressing the "F"
key again for two seconds deactivates voice control.
Setting the VOX sensitivity and switchover time
• Keep the "CALL" key pressed and switch the device on again.
When the "CALL" key is released "L2" appears on the dis-
play;
• Press the "UP" or "DOWN" key in order to set the desired
VOX sensitivity. This completes setting the VOX sensitivity.
• Then press the "F" key once until "d2" appears on the dis-
play. Repeat the procedure described above and set the re-
ceive/transmit switchover time as required (d1 - shortest swit-
chover time, d3 - longest switchover time.
• To save the new setting, switch off the device or press the
"ENTER" key.
• Talk into the microphone in order to transmit: the voice control
function (VOX) automatically switches the transmitter on and
sends the message.

• Pour émettre, parlez dans le micro : la commande vocale
(VOX) démarre l'émetteur automatiquement et déclenche ainsi
la transmission.
Recherche de canaux
Il existe deux types de recherche de canaux (fonction Scan) : la re-
cherche de canaux occupés (SCAN) et celle de canaux non oc-
cupés (B.SCAN).
Recherche de canaux occupés (SCAN)
• Mettez l'appareil en marche et appuyez sur la touche « F »
jusqu'à ce que « SCAN » clignote à l'écran.
• Appuyez sur les touches « UP » ou « DOWN ».
De cette manière, la recherche est activée et tous les canaux font
l'objet d'une recherche continue. Lorsqu'un signal est reçu sur un
canal, la recherche s'interrompt pendant un court instant. Au bout
de 5 secondes environ, la recherche de canaux reprend. Pour arrê-
ter la recherche de canaux, appuyez sur la touche « PTT ».
Recherche de canaux non occupés (B.SCAN)
Pour commencer cette recherche, procédez d'abord comme décrit
plus haut et sélectionnez « B.SCAN » avec la touche « F ». Avec ce
type de recherche, le premier canal libre (sans signal) sur 8 dispo-
nibles est affiché pendant environ 5 secondes. Les canaux oc-
cupés ne sont pas pris en considération.
