Dépannage
Le rayon d'action maximal de Pocket Com PMR Fun peut atteindre
jusqu'à 2 km (dans des conditions optimales). Cependant, si lors
de la transmission des perturbations devaient néanmoins intervenir,
il suffit souvent de se déplacer de quelques mètres. Si vous vous
trouvez dans un immeuble ou un environnement comportant de
nombreux éléments de construction en métal ou dans une voiture,
une réduction du rayon d'action peut se faire sentir.
Elimination-recyclage
Eliminez votre émetteur-récepteur portable Pocket Com PMR Fun
devenu inutilisable, selon les dispositions légales en vigueur.
Maniement
Pour que vous puissiez profiter le plus longtemps possible de votre
Pocket Com PMR Fun, nous vous donnons ci-dessous quelques
conseils pour ménager l'appareil :
- Ne jamais mettre l'appareil immédiatement en service quand il
passe d'une pièce froide à une pièce chaude. L'eau de con-
densation qui se développe à ce moment-là peut, dans des
conditions défavorables, le détruire. Laisser votre appareil
atteindre la température ambiante avant de l'allumer.
- L'appareil doit être protégé de l'humidité et de la poussière. Ne ja-
mais entreposer l'appareil à un endroit où il risque d'être soumis à
un fort réchauffement et/ou à un rayonnement direct du soleil.

14. Call key [CALL]
When the Call key is pressed, the device switches from receive
to transmit and sends a calling tone which is received by the
partner station (assuming it is set to the same channel) which
signals that it is being called (in the same way as a telephone
rings).
15. Push To Talk key [PTT]
Pressing the PTT key switches the device from receive mode to
transmit mode. When this key is released, the device switches
back to receive mode. The transmit icon appears on the dis-
play when transmitting and the receive icon appears when re-
ceiving.
16. Monitor key [MON]
Briefly pressing the "MON" key deactivates noise suppression
(squelch). In this case even very weak received signals without
an identification tone can be received. Briefly press the "MON"
key again in order to switch this function off.
Keylock
To activate the keylock function, keep the "ENTER" key pres-
sed for roughly 2 seconds. A key icon appears on the display
accompanied by an acknowledgement tone. This makes all
keys apart from the PTT and MON keys inoperative. To cancel
key lockout simply repeat this process.
17. Charging contacts
There are two charging contacts at the bottom of the housing
which make it possible to charge batteries using a battery
charging base (not included in scope of supply).
18. Charging socket [CHG]
Rechargeable batteries fitted in the device can be charged by
connecting a battery charger to this socket. The Pocket Com
