Two-channel monitoring (DUAL WATCH)
This function makes it possible to monitor any two channels. To
set two-channel monitoring:
• Switch the Pocket Com PMR Fun on.
• Use the "UP" or "DOWN" key to select one of the two chan-
nels which you want to monitor.
• Press the "F" key until the legend "DW" appears on the dis-
play.
• Then select the second channel by using the "UP" or "DO-
WN" key. The second channel is accepted after roughly 1 se-
cond and two-channel monitoring starts.
As soon as there is a received signal in one of these channels
which exceeds the previously set "auto squelch" threshold, the
walkie-talkie locks on to this channel and you can hear the recei-
ved signal. If the signal disappears for a prolonged period, the wal-
kie-talkie switches back and forth between the two previously set
channels.
To stop two-channel monitoring, briefly press the "ENTER" key or
switch the device off and on again.
Transmitting in handsfree mode (VOX)
As well as manual transmission control (PTT key), the Pocket Com
PMR Fun offers automatic voice controlled transmission (VOX)
which allows you to use your walkie-talkie in handsfree mode. The
sensitivity of the VOX function can be set in 3 steps from "L1" (hig-
