f) Using the DJ Microphone
• If you want to make an announcement, speak into the microphone and set the volume with the MIC/AUX
VOLUME controller (7).
• Once you have made your announcement, turn the MIC/AUX VOLUME (7) controller back to position MIN
to prevent any distortion or background noise from being output.

g) Using the USB Output

The USB connection can be used for playback from the computer as well as to record the mixer signal.
USB playback
• Push the switch USB TO CH-2 (5). This plays back the USB signal via the mixer channel 2.
• The USB input is treated like a normal audio input.
To play back on the computer, the corresponding audio playback programme must be installed.
The control, title selection, etc. is performed via the computer.
USB recording
• The mixer signal can also be recorded with a computer connected to the USB (15) connections.
• The USB recording function is possible at all times, independently of the switch position of the switch
USB TO CH-2 (5).
• For this, start your recording software on the computer and confirm the recording function.
To record on the computer, the corresponding audio recording software must be installed. A
simple programme is usually already delivered with the operating system, programmes with ex-
tensive options are commercially available.
