8. Installation/Setup

The DJ-Mixer can be set up on a level surface or installed in a desk.
When setting up or mounting in a desk with other equipment, ensure there is sufficient ventila-
tion. Never place the device on any soft surfaces such as a carpet or a bed.
Air circulation also must not be impaired by any objects like magazines, tablecloths, curtains,
etc. This prevents heat dissipation from the product and may lead to overheating (danger of
fire).
Do not drill any additional holes into the mixer casing. This may impair device safety.
When setting up the device, make sure that it has a stable footing and place it on a stable un-
derground. Persons can be injured if the mixer drops.
When installing/setting up the device, make sure that the connection cables are not crushed or
damaged by any sharp edges.
Always place cables so that no one can trip over them or be caught in them. There is a danger
of injury.
When selecting a place of set-up, make sure it is not exposed to direct solar radiation, vibra-
tions, heat, cold and moisture.
Make sure there are no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as converters,
motors, cordless telephones or radio-controlled devices in the vicinity of the mixer, as they can
cause interferences in the mixer.
Never place the device on any valuable or sensitive furniture surfaces without sufficient protec-
tion.

a) Setup

• Place the device on a level surface.
b) Assembly
• Saw out the required opening for the device from the mounting area.
• Screw the device to the oblong holes in the front plate with suitable screws.
