These operating instructions provide places concerning your
safety which are marked with this indication: m
m General safety notes
1. You must read the complete instruction and mainte-
nance manual before you use the machine.
2. You must wear safety shoes at all times to protect
yourself against the risk of falling trunks.
3. You must wear work gloves at all times to protect
your hands from chips and splinters generated while
you work.
4. You must wear safety goggles or a visor to protect
yourself from chips and splinters generated while
you work.
5. It is prohibited to remove or modify any protective
equipment or safety equipment.
6. No one apart from the operator is permitted to stand
within the working radius of the machine. No other
person or animal is permitted to be within a radius
of 5 meters of the machine.
7. It is prohibited to allow used oil to be discharged
to the environment. The oil must be disposed of in
accordance with the regulations of the country in
which the machine is used.
8. Risk of hands being cut or crushed: Never touch any
dangerous areas while the wedge is moving.
9. Warning: Keep an eye on the movement of the trunk
pusher at all times.
10. Warning: Never attempt to remove a trunk which has
got stuck on the wedge by hand.
11. Warning: Always unplug the power plug prior to
starting any of the maintenance work described in
this manual.
12. Warning: The voltage must be the same as the volt-
age specified on the rating plate.

m Précautions d'emploi
1. Avant d'utiliser la machine, veuillez lire entière-
ment le manuel d'utilisation et d'entretien.
2. Portez toujours des chaussures de sécurité pour
vous protéger contre le risque de troncs tombants
sur le pied.
3. Portez toujours des gants de sécurité pour proté-
ger vos mains des copeaux et éclats susceptibles
de se produire au cours du travail.
4. Vous devez absolument toujours porter des lu-
nettes de protection ou une visière pour protéger
les yeux contre les copeaux et éclats susceptibles
de se produire au cours du travail.
5. Il est interdit de retirer des dispositifs de sécurité
ou de protection.
6. Exception faite de l'opérateur, il est interdit de
se tenir dans le rayon de travail de la machine.
Aucune autre personne ni animal ne peut se tenir
dans un rayon de 5 mètres autour de la machine.
7. Il est défendu d'évacuer de l'huile usée dans l'en-
vironnement. Il est obligatoire d'éliminer l'huile
conformément aux prescriptions légales du pays
dans lequel la machine est utilisée.
8. Risque de coupure ou d'écrasement des mains: ne
touchez jamais des zones dangereuses pendant le
mouvement du poussoir.
9. Avertissement: faites toujours attention aux mou-
vements du poussoir du tronc.
10. Avertissement: ne retirez jamais un tronc de la
main qui s'est coincé dans la cale.
11. Avertissement: avant d'exécuter n'importe quels
travaux d'entretien décrits dans ce manuel, retirez
la fiche de la prise de courant.
12. Avertissement: la tension doit correspondre à celle
indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.
