15. Switching the Servo Directions of Travel

If the rudder movements are not according to figures 10 to 14, you can switch the running direction of every single
servo with the reverse function. Switching is possible at drive or flight controllers as well when the motor is running
at full speed when the control lever for the motor function has been pulled all the way to the body, contrary to the
function described above.
Switching takes place with the trimming button pulled towards the control channel, which must be pushed in a specific
direction while the transmitter is switched off.
The trimming button for the aileron and rudder functions (see figure 10, items 6 and 12) must be pushed to the right
at the same time.
The trimming button for the elevator and motor functions (see figure 10, items 4 and 14) must be pushed up at the
same time.
To switch the running direction of a servo, proceed as follows:
• Switch off the receiver and transmitter.
• Move the trimming button for the control function to be switched to the right or up and keep the trimming button in
this position.
• Then switch the transmitter on with the in/off switch (see figure 1, item 8) and observe the green LED for the function
display (see figure 1, item 16).
• At correct operation, the green LED will light up, go out briefly and light up again at once. This way, the transmitter
will slow that the running direction of the servo that belongs to the trim button has been switched.
• You can now release the trim button again.
• Then take the receiver into operation and check that the changed running direction of the servo is now correct.
• To restore the original running direction, repeat the above steps.
Please observe that the centre position of the servo/rudder may have to be adjusted after switching.
