11. Propeller Change

There are two ways of replacing a damaged propeller.
1. Replacement of individual propeller blades
Each propeller blade is anchored at the propeller hub with a bolt. The bolt is secured by a burst ring (1). Removing the
burst ring then permits removing the bolt and replacing the damaged propeller blade. The bolt must be secured with
the burst ring again after the replacement.
2. Replace the complete propeller
Remove the spinner cap by turning out the spinner's (2)
attachment screw.
Loosen the central nut below the spinner cap and pull the
old propeller including the spinner off the motor shaft.
Attach the new propeller to the motor shaft so that there
is a distance of 2 - 3 mm between the rear spinner plate
and the fuselage.
Tighten the central nut again and attach the spinner cap.
