Record

The recording will be made with the internal microphone.
Proceed as follows:
1. Make sure that the HOLD-switch is in OFF position and push any
button to switch on the recorder.
2. Select with the MENU-button (front of the unit) the file where the
message has to be stored. By each pushing of the MENU-button,
the recorder goes to the next file.The selected file is shown at the
display (A,B,C).
3. Place the recorder close to the mouth or any other sound source
which should be recorded and press the REC/ STOP button (left
side of the unit) to start the recording.
4. The number of the recorded message, the selected

play mode and the recording time is shown on the
REC
SP A display. Also the REC icon appears at the display, the
recording LED is on.

Record/ Play Mode

There are two record/play modes available. The standard
play-mode (SP) with 64 minutes play time and high speech
quality and the long play-mode (LP) with 108 minutes play
time and a slightly reduced speech quality. To set the mode
press the MENU- button (front of the unit) for 2 seconds until
the recording mode symbol (SP or LP) is flashing. With the

cally.
To stop the recording, press the REC/STOP- button
(left side of the unit).
Unless the HOLD- switch is in ON position it is
impossible to stop the recording with any button.
