Microphone sensitivity adjustment

To adjust the microphone sensitivity push the MENU-

button for 2 seconds until the recording mode symbol (SP

or LP) is flashing. Push the MENU-button 2 x for a short
time again, the MIC symbol starts flashing. With the <<
and >> button you can adjust the sensitivity in 6 steps, the
actual sensitivity is shown in the level indicator.

Hold

To protect the keys against unintentional settings set the
HOLD-switch (left side of the unit) into the ON position.
In this case the recorder will keep the function which was
selected before setting the HOLD- mode until the HOLD-
switch (left side of the unit) is set to the OFF position. By
pushing any key during the HOLD- mode the display will
show HOLD.

Beep tone

By pushing any button you can heare a beep tone. To

switch this beep tone on or off push the MENU-button for
SP ON
A 2 seconds until the recording mode symbol (SP or LP) is
flashing. Push the MENU-button 3 x for a short time again,
the music symbol starts flashing. With the << and >>
button you can select between ON and Off.
Moving messages from A to B
To move a message from file A to B push the PLAY/
PAUSE-button to play back the message. If you push
the MENU-button during play back the message will be
moved.
