- Die Klampen 8.3 auf dem Deck mit
wenig Sekundenkleber verkleben.
- Am Fuß der Hupe 8.4 die
Metallisierung entfernen. Die Hupe
8.4 in der 3 mm Decksbohrung
verkleben.
- Die Rumpf- und Decksdekorstreifen
gemäß Kartonagenabbildung mit
Spülmittel, wie beschrieben, aufbrin-
gen. Gut trocknen lassen.
Die Jungfernfahrt und Hinweise zum Fahrbetrieb
- Einen nicht zu windigen Tag und ein größeres Gewässer
aussuchen.
- Das Modell in den Bootsständer setzen.
- Immer zuerst den Sender, dann die Empfangsanlage
in Betrieb nehmen.
- Der Gasknüppel am Sender muß auf Motor „Aus" stehen.
- Die Fahrakkus anschließen.
- Nochmals eine Funktionsprobe durchführen.
- Das Boot geradeaus fahren lassen. Falls erforderlich die
Lenkung am Sender nachtrimmen.
- Gewöhnen Sie sich zunächst
Fahrgeschwindigkeit an die Lenkreaktionen des Modells.
- Beim Rückwärtsfahren nur gefühlvoll Gas geben.
- Beim Fahren zum Ufer oder in der Nähe von
Hindernissen, zum Beispiel Bojen beachten, daß der
Motor immer rechtzeitig heruntergeregelt wird.
- Wird das Modell langsamer, ist in Kürze der Akku leer. In
diesem Fall sofort ans Ufer fahren.
- Nach Beendigung des Fahrbetriebs das Boot öffnen und
trocknen lassen. Zuerst die Verbindung des Akkus zum
Regler trennen, erst dann den Sender ausschalten.
- War ein Nachtrimmen der Lenkung erforderlich, das
Gestänge entsprechend verstellen. So steht wieder der
volle Trimmweg zur Verfügung.

Maiden voyage, notes on running the boat
- Wait for a day with no more than a gentle breeze, and seek
out a broad expanse of calm water.
- Place the model in the boatstand.
- Switch on the transmitter, then the receiving system. Always
keep to this sequence of operations when switching on.
- Check that the transmitter throttle stick is at the „motor
stopped" position. Connect the drive battery.
- Check the working systems one more time. Place the boat in
the water and open the throttle so that it runs forward in a
straight line. Adjust the steering trim if necessary.
- Run the boat at moderate speed initially, until you feel confi-

dent in its steering response.
- Be gentle with the throttle when reversing the boat.
- When running towards the bank, or close to obstacles such
as buoys, remember to stop the motor in good time to avoid
a damaging collision.
- The boat will warn you that the battery is nearly flat by slow-
ing down markedly. If this should happen, immediately turn
the model towards the bank and bring it „home" without
delay. At the end of each run open up the boat and allow it to
dry out naturally. Disconnect the battery from the speed con-
troller first, and only then switch off the transmitter.
- If you find it necessary to adjust the steering trim during the
test run, adjust the mechanical linkage once the boat is back
on the bank, so that you can return the trim lever to centre.
This ensures that full trim travel is available to both sides of
centre for subsequent runs.

- Glue the cleats 8.3 to the deck with a
little cyano.
- Remove the metallised coating from
the base of the horn 8.4, and glue it in
the vacant 3 mm Ø hole in the deck.
- Apply the trim stripe decals to the hull
8.3
and deck as shown in the kit box illus-
tration, using the detergent mixture as
described before. Allow them to dry
out thoroughly.

- Coller les taquets 8.3 sur le pont avec
un peu de colle cyanoacrylate.
- Retirer la surface métallisée du pied
de la corne 8.4. Coller la corne 8.4
dans le trou de 3 mm de diamètre du
pont.
- Comme décrit précédemment (eau
tiède et liquide vaisselle), appliquer
les éléments du feuillets de décora-
tion sur la coque et le pont, selon les
indications fournies par le carton
d'emballage du modèle. Laisser par-
faitement sécher.
La première sortie et conseils de pilotage
- Choisir un jour peu venteux et un plan d'eau relativement
vaste. Installer le modèle dans son berceau.
- Mettre toujours d'abord l'émetteur en marche puis
l'ensemble de réception.
- Le manche des gaz sur l'émetteur doit se trouver en
position „moteur arrêté".
- Raccorder l'accu moteur.
- Effectuer un nouvel essai des fonctions.
- Installer le modèle dans l'eau et le laisser se déplacer sur
une trajectoire rectiligne. Si nécessaire, corriger au
niveau du trim de la direction sur l'émetteur.
- Avec un vitesse convenable, se familiariser d'abord au
réactions du modèle en fonction de la commande.
- Pour la marche arrière, ne donner des gaz qu'avec une
grande sensibilité. Lorsque la trajectoire du modèle le
conduit vers la rive ou vers un objet flottant (une balise
par exemple), veiller a réduite les gaz suffisamment tôt.
- Lorsque le modèle perd de lui-même en vitesse, cela sig-
nifie que l'accu est bientôt vide. Dans ce cas, ramener
immédiatement le bateau vers la rive.
- En fin de séance de pilotage, ouvrir le bateau et le laiss-
er sécher. Désolidariser d'abord la liaison entre l'accu
moteur et le variateur et ensuite seulement couper
l'émetteur. Si une correction s'est imposée lors de la pre-
mière sortie au niveau du trim de la direction, reporter
ensuite la correction sur la tringle de direction. Vous dis-
poserez ainsi de toute la course du trim pour la
prochaine sortie.
