G. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
4. INTERNAL ELEMENTS
REPLACEABLE PARTS OF THE INTERNAL ELEMENTS
The head and cheek pads can be hand washed using a mild soap solution
(e.g. a highly diluted solution of mild detergent) at a maximum temperature
of 30 °C. After washing, allow the elements to dry at room temperature in a
well-ventilated area.
NON-REMOVABLE INTERNAL FABRIC ELEMENTS
The internal elements can be washed using a mild hand-warm soap solution
(e.g. a highly diluted mild detergent solution). Apply the detergent using a
moist sponge or cloth by dabbing or rubbing lightly. Do not rinse the interior
elements. Next, soak up the soap suds by dabbing the padding with a dry
absorbent cloth. Repeat these steps with clean water. When drying the
interior of the helmet, ensure that it is well ventilated.
5. VENTILATION
VENTILATION HOOD
When necessary you can remove the air inlet hood of the head
ventilation system to clean the ventilation mechanism.
1. To do this, first remove the control unit
by simply lifting it out of the ventilation
cowl.

2. Then slide the flat end of the control
unit under the edge behind the
ventilation cowl and remove the latter
by levering it upwards.
3. On completion of the cleaning, fix
the ventilation cowl back in place
by hooking it into the front of the
ventilation mechanism and pressing
it into the helmet shell until you hear
an audible click.
4. When this has been done, insert the
control unit through the ventilation
cowl and into the ventilation
mechanism.
6. STORAGE
Store the helmet in the bag supplied in a dry, well-vented and stable location.
Always put the helmet down in a place such that it cannot fall onto the floor.
Any damage that occurs in this way is not covered by the warranties.
Caution:
Keep the helmet out of reach of children and pets.
