13. Troubleshooting

Fault
The compressor does not
start.
The compressor starts but
there is no pressure.
The compressor starts,
pressure is shown on the
pressure gauge, but the
tools do not start.
Possible cause
No supply voltage.
Insufficient supply voltage.
Outside temperature is too low.
Motor is overheated.
The non-return valve leaks.
The seals are damaged.
The hose connections have a leak.
A quick-lock coupling has a leak.

Remedy
Check cable, power plug, fuse and socket.
Avoid extension cables that are too long.
Use extension cables with sufficient wire
cross-section.
Do not operate below +5° C outside
temperature.
Allow the motor to cool down. If neces-
sary, eliminate the cause of overheating.
Replace non-return valve.
Check seals, have broken seals replaced
at a specialist workshop.
Check compressed air hose and tools,
replace if necessary.
Check quick coupling, replace if neces-
sary.
