To make falling asleep and sleeping through easier, in addition to the brightlight function, the TL 55 also has a
red light which simulates the evening sun. Due to the integrated 30-minute timer, the red light gradually becomes
weaker, recreating a natural sunset. The wavelengths of the visible red light act on the retina and nervous system
and in so doing calm the body and mind.
