Proper use

This appliance is only meant for dry use - it
is not suitable for sucking in liquids and oth-
er wet substances.
The appliance is suited for the extraction of
dry, combustible, harmful dusts on ma-
chines and appliances in zone 22; dust
class M and B1 according to EN 60 335–2-
69.
Restriction: No carcinogenic substance ex-
cept wood dust may be sucked in.
This appliance is suited for the commercial
use, e.g. in hotels, schools, hospitals, fac-
tories, shops, offices, and rental compa-
nies.
Any other use other than the specified one
will be treated as improper use of the appli-
ance.

Symbols on the machine

WARNING: This unit contains hazardous
dust. Emptying and maintenance, includ-
ing the removal of the dust bag, may only
be carried out by someone who is familiar
with the unit and wearing suitable protec-
tive gear. Do not switch on the unit until
the complete filter system has been in-
stalled and the function of the volume-flow
control has been tested.
Caution
Danger of crushing while inserting and
locking the waste container.
Never hold your hands between the waste
container and the vacuum cleaner or put
them near the guide bolts while locking.
Lock the waste container by pressing the
respective lever with both the hands!

For a suction hose with 50 mm diameter,
the suction under-pressure should not fall
below the specified value. If the suction un-
der-pressure falls below the specified level,
stop the appliance and clean the filter.
Note
As the suction under-pressure is a negative
value, the display shows a higher absolute
number on the manometer when the under-
pressure falls below the specified value.
Safety instructions
Switch off the appliance after completing
the work and pull out the mains plug.
Warning
When the outgoing air is carried back into
the room, a sufficient ventilation rate L in
the room must be ensured. The returned
flow volume should be max. 50% of the
fresh air flow volume (room volume VR X
air exchange rate AE) so that the required
marginal values are maintained. Without a
specific ventilation system the following ap-
plies: AE=1h-1
