• Press the right snowflake icon to increase the time by 0.5 hours.
• Press the left snowflake icon to decrease the time by 0.5 hours.
• Press the Start/Pause touch control to start the timer. The appliance will start automatically after
the set delay time has elapsed.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

QUICK CLEANING
When you want to rinse the appliance quickly between two similar preparations, or before a
thorough cleaning, you can use the "Rinse" programme:
1. Drain the remaining mixture from the mixing bowl.
2. Stop the current programme by pressing the Start/Pause touch control for 3 seconds.
3. Press the Rinse touch control and start the programme by pressing the Start/Pause touch
control.
4. Fill the mixing bowl with clean water up to the maximum fill mark (1800 ml).
5. Carefully drain the water through the outlet until the mixing bowl is completely empty.
6. Discard the dirty water.
7. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 until all mixture residues have been rinsed away.
8. Press the On/Off touch control to switch off the appliance.

THOROUGH CLEANING

1. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
2. Disassemble all removable parts. See "Disassembly" earlier in this manual.
3. Wipe the cooling cylinder, the sealing ring, the recess beneath the cooling cylinder and the
motor housing thoroughly with a warm, damp cloth. Dry everything carefully.
4. Wash all removed parts by hand in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Dry all parts carefully before reassembling.

Do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.

Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.

All removable parts can be washed in the dishwasher, but without a heated drying cycle! Select
a dishwasher programme without drying and carefully dry all parts by hand.
STORAGE
• Ensure the appliance is clean, dry and fully assembled before storing it.
• Avoid wrapping the power cord around the base of the motor housing.
• Store the appliance in an upright position.
• When moving the appliance, always lift it by holding the base with both hands.
• Do not leave any ingredients in the mixing bowl.
