STARTING A PROGRAMME
• Plug the appliance into the mains socket. The display will briefly light up and a signal tone will
sound. The appliance is now in off mode.
• Press the On/Off touch control to switch on the appliance. The
programme icons will light up. If no touch control is pressed for 10
minutes, a signal tone will sound and the appliance will return to off
mode.
• Open the lid of the filling opening, pour your preparation into the
mixing bowl and close the lid of the filling opening securely.
I
Ensure there is at least 450 ml of liquid in the mixing bowl
and that the maximum marking on the bowl (for the selected
preparation) is not exceeded.
• Select one of the seven programmes for the ideal setting for your
chosen preparation by pressing the corresponding icon. The icon of
the selected programme will start flashing.
• Press the Start/Pause touch control to start the selected programme.
The appliance will now begin operating. The duration of the
programme varies from 15 to 60 minutes and depends on the
ingredients, the volume of the preparation and the starting
temperature of the liquid. The display shows the temperature of the
mixture in the bowl.
• When the set temperature is reached, three signal tones will
sound and "End" will appear on the display. The appliance will continue running to keep your
preparation at the ideal temperature.
• Place a glass, bowl or cup on the front drip tray under the outlet. Slowly pull the handle forward
to dispense. Gently return the handle to its original position to stop dispensing.
I
If you have made soft ice cream, do not forget to fit the silicone nozzle onto the outlet.
I
Keep the appliance switched on during dispensing and until the mixing bowl is completely
empty.
• Switch off the appliance when the mixing bowl is completely empty by pressing the On/Off
touch control for 3 seconds.
I
The appliance will continue running for up to 12 hours. After that, it will switch off
automatically and ten signal tones will sound.
Notes
• Each programme starts with an optimal temperature setting for the best texture. If desired, you
can adjust the temperature:
• For more liquid preparations, for example those you wish to drink with a straw, reduce the
density by pressing the left (small) snowflake icon.
• For thicker, colder preparations, increase the density by pressing the right (large) snowflake
icon.
• If your preparation has not reached the desired texture after the selected programme has
finished, increase the temperature setting by one level. Then wait 10 to 15 minutes and check
the texture again. Is the result still not as desired? Increase by one level again. Repeat these
steps until the desired texture is achieved.
• Press and hold both snowflake icons for 3 seconds to switch the temperature display between
Celsius and Fahrenheit.
