PREPARE YOUR INGREDIENTS
• Make a preparation or choose a drink you wish to process.

Ensure that your preparation or drink contains at least 4% sugar. When using light soft drinks or
flavoured sparkling water, always add sugar. Sugar substitutes or sweeteners do not meet the
minimum sugar requirements.
I
For alcoholic preparations, the alcohol content must be between 2.8% and 16%.
I
Do not add ice or solid ingredients such as fruit, ice cream, or frozen fruit.
I
Do not add warm ingredients. Allow warm drinks to cool to room temperature or chill them in
the refrigerator before pouring them into the mixing bowl.
