4.1 Power supply
The unit is supplied works-fitted with a 9V block battery. This is
located in the battery compartment and must be connected before
the unit it put into operation. Alternatively, a 9V rechargeable block
battery (0515 0025) can be used.
Connect rechargeable battery/battery
1 Press the external battery compartment cover upwards at the
hinge
2 Open the internal battery compartment cover using a small
screwdriver.
3 Connect the battery/rechargeable block battery to the battery
clip and insert in the compartment. Observe the polarity!
4 Close the internal cover and the battery compartment cover.
4.2 Switch on the unit
Press
- The unit executes a function test.
- The software version appears briefly on the display. The unit
then changes to the manometer screen and is ready for use.

The default switch-off time for the display light is set such that
15 seconds after the last button is pressed the light switches
off. Once any button is pressed again, the light is reactivated. It
is only when the next button is pressed that the required
function is executed.
