1. Fundamental safety instructions
Please read the following safety instructions with care:
Avoid electrical hazards:
Never make measurements with the unit and its external probes on or near live components unless
the unit is expressly approved for current and voltage measurements.
Allow only authorised persons to replace damaged mains cables.
Protect the unit:
Never store the unit together with solvents (e.g. acetone). Avoid contact between the unit and the
indicators of leak detection lamps.
Observe the permissible pressure range. If the unit is overloaded, its accuracy and long-term
stability are no longer assured. The sensors may be destroyed.
The protection class specified in the technical data is assured only when the battery compartment is
closed.
The 7/16-20UNF connections are designed to connect filling hoses with a fast-action screw
connection. If other fittings, such as reductions, are used it must be ensured that the connections for
the valve bank cannot become twisted during assembly or disassembly.
The starting torque for the 7/16-20UNF connections and valve elements is 7Nm. Thread seals are
not required.
Measure correctly:
Ensure that the hoses and sensors are correctly connected before each measurement.
Preserve the product safety/warranty entitlement:
Operate the unit only within the parameters specified in the technical data. Handle the unit suitably
and according to its intended purpose. Never apply force.
Open the unit only when this is expressly described in the Instruction Manual for maintenance
purposes.
Ensure correct disposal:
Dispose of defective rechargeable batteries and spent batteries at the provided collection points.
Send the unit directly to us at the end of its life cycle. We will ensure that it is disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner.
