ECO switch
When the ECO switch is pressed, the generator is in the energy saving state and the engine speed will adjust
automatically. When disconnecting consumers or using reduced power the engine speed will be automatically
adjusted when idling, thus reducing the engine's fuel consumption.
When the ECO switch is not pressed, the engine will remain running.
To reduce voltage fluctuations, the ECO switch should not be pressed when large consumers are connected to
the generator.
When using the 12 V DC output, the ECO switch should not be pressed.
When the load of electrical appliances that are connected to the generator varies a lot, the ECO switch should
not be pressed.
Ground terminal
The ground terminal of the generator is connected to the frame of the generator, the non-conductive metal parts
of the generator and the ground terminals of each outlet.
Before using the grounding terminal, consult a qualified electrical inspector or local agency having jurisdiction for
local codes or ordinances that apply to the use of the generator.
5. PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
Oil dipstick
Upper oil level
OIL SUPPLY
Engine oil is a major factor affecting engine performance and engine life. Non-detergent oils and two-stroke
engine oil will damage the engine and are not recommended.
Check the oil level BEFORE EACH USE.
CAREFUL! The generator does not come with oil in the engine.
Fill the engine crankcase with RURIS 4T-MAX engine oil or an API classification oil: CI-4/SL or higher, up to the
filler neck ( 0.6L ).
In the cold season of the year, it is recommended to use the oil RURIS 4T-WINTER GT SAE 10W-40 API: CI-
4/SL.
1. Disassemble the side cover, remove and clean the dipstick.
2. Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the filler hole without screwing it in.
3. If the level is low, fill to the top of the filler hole with the recommended oil.
4. Reposition the dipstick again.
5. Replace the side cover
FUEL SUPPLY.
Fuel tank
▪ Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain
cap
conditions.
▪ Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off. Do not
smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area where the engine is
fueled or where gasoline is stored.
▪ Do not fill the fuel tank (there must be no fuel in the filler neck).
After refueling, check the tank cap. It must be closed properly.
▪ Be careful not to spill fuel when refueling. Spilled fuel or fuel
vapors may ignite. If you spill fuel, make sure the area is dry
before starting the engine.
▪ Avoid repeated or prolonged contact with the skin or breathing
gasoline vapors.
