10.1 ATS instructions
The ATS system is designed to start the Power generator if the power supply from the main source has been
turned off.
When the power supply is off, the Power generator will start in 2-6 seconds and provide power for the consumers.
When the power supply is on, the ATS system will automatically transfer the switch to the main power supply and
then stop the Power generator in 2-6 seconds.
1) This system uses the basic SCM technique and digital technique to control and manage the automatic working
system.
2) Easy installation and operation
3) Automatic operation, without intervention on the Power generator. When the power transfer is interrupted, the
system will record the errors and prompt the operator to inspect and reconfigure the system. The mains power
supply and the Power generator power supply can work at the same time.
4) The Power generator is equipped with a charger that keeps its battery charged .
10.2 Operating steps
Use the cable to connect the ATS box to the Power generator control panel.
1) Automatic position configuration
By pressing the AUTO button, the AUTO indicator light will light up, the ATS system will operate automatically.
2) Operation of the ATS system
When the ATS system works automatically, if the main power supply is off, the ATS system will automatically open
the air damper control (choke damper) and start the Power generator within 2 seconds, let the Power generator
run for 5 seconds, then the system will switch the load to the Power generator power supply.
3) Starting the ATS system 3 times
When the Power generator cannot start properly, the ATS system will attempt to start the Power generator 3 times
consecutively, as follows:
Main power supply off → Power generator starts for 3 seconds, first time → start unsuccessful, wait 5 seconds →
Power generator starts for 4 seconds → start unsuccessful, wait 5 seconds → Power generator starts for 5
seconds, third time.
Note: When the Power generator fails to start after 3 attempts, the "ERROR" indicator light will turn on .
4) Stopping the Power generator
When the utility power is restored, the ATS system will transfer the load to the main power supply.
5) Manual start
If you do not want the ATS system to operate automatically, switch the switch to the "MANUAL" position .
6) Automatic shock damper control
If the Power generator is equipped with automatic choke control, when the Power generator is started, the ATS
system will operate the choke. After the Power generator starts, it will open the choke for proper Power generator
operation .
10.3 Battery maintenance
The ATS system will automatically charge the battery, the charging current is 2A.
