Wash your hands with soap and water after replacing used oil.
It is recommended to dispose of used engine oil in an environmentally friendly manner. We suggest depositing it
in a sealed container at your local service station or recycling center. Do not throw it in the trash, pour it on the
ground or into the wastewater system.
SPARK PLUG MAINTENANCE
Do not use the spark plug beyond the permissible thermal limits. To ensure proper operation of the machine, the
spark plugs must have the proper gap between them and be free of deposits.
1) Remove or replace the spark plug using the special wrench.
2) Visually inspect the spark plug. Replace any spark plug that is worn or has a cracked/defective dielectric. Wire
brushing is required if reusing.
CAUTION! Do not touch the spark plug shortly after the machine has been
stopped as it is extremely hot.
3) Measure the gap using a feeler gauge . Pull the electrode if necessary to
adjust. 0.7-0.8mm is the appropriate gap range.
4) Check that the spark plug mounting washer is in proper condition.
5) Screw the spark plug in by hand as far as it will go, then tighten with the
special wrench. Hold the gasket firmly in place.
CAUTION! When installing a new spark plug, tighten it half a turn after securing
the gasket properly. When installing a used spark plug, tighten it 1/8-1/4 after
securing the gasket properly.
▪ The spark plug must be properly tightened. Otherwise, it will become
extremely hot and cause damage to the machine.
▪ Use the recommended spark plug. Otherwise, the machine may be damaged.
When transporting the Power generator, turn the ignition switch and fuel cock to the "OFF" position. Keep the
Power generator in a horizontal position to prevent fuel leakage. Fuel vapors or spilled fuel may ignite.
1)Transportation
Do not transport the Power generator unless the fuel valve is turned off and the engine is cold.
CAUTION! Do not tilt the Power generator. Otherwise, a fire may occur due to fuel leakage or volatilization.
2) Storage
Check the following conditions in case of long-term storage of the Power generator:
The storage location does not have high humidity or dust deposits.
The fuel is empty.
WARNING! To prevent gasoline from burning and exploding, fire and smoke are strictly prohibited.
a) Turn the fuel valve to the "OFF" position, remove and empty the decanter cup.
b) Open the fuel valve, empty the fuel tank into a suitable empty container.
c) Reinstall the decanter cup, tighten and secure it properly.
d) Loosen the carburetor drain screw, drain the fuel from the carburetor into a suitable empty container.
Replace the lubricant.
Remove the spark plug. Pour 5 ml of clean lubricant into the cylinder. Turn the Power generator so that the
lubricant is evenly distributed. Reinstall the spark plug.
Pull the starter handle until resistance is felt.
Cover the Power generator to protect it from dust.
