Preparation of the coding template:
The coding template is used to transfer the same
code to all devices without error. The coding
tool is used to cut the chosen connections.
Keep these tools in a safe place for future exten-
sions to the DIAGRAL alarm system.
Turn the coding template over so that you
1
can see the numbers 1 to 10.
Holding the template, put the sharp end of
2
the coding tool in the first hole corresponding to
the first cross on the grid.
Turn the tool clockwise to make a hole in the
3
template. Stop when the tool has completely
passed through to the other side of the template.
This hole is finished.
Repeat operations 2 and 3 for each of the
4
figures corresponding to a cross on the grid.
You have transferred the code onto the coding
tool.
Coding
The template has two positioning pins of dif-
1
ferent diameters which prevents turning it the
wrong way round during coding. Put the coding
template positioning pins into the corresponding
holes.
Hold the template and put the sharp end of
2
the coding tool into the first open hole in the
template. Press the tool, turning it clockwise to
break the corresponding coding connection.
Stop when the handle of the coding tool hits
against the coding template.
Repeat this operation for each hole in the
3
template.
Remove the template, ensuring no chips fall
4
into the receiver.
