Note:
If you want to control a motor, relay, transformer or neon light, the output must be protected with a
resistor and capacitor (see connection chapter)
If you want to control a class I device (a device requiring an earth connection), the earth-device
connection must be made.
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
Install it:
inside the house only,
in such a way that an intruder cannot reach it without triggering the alarm (if it is added to a DIA-
GRAL security system),
antenna facing down,
more than 5 m from your control panel, telephone dialler, alarm siren or any
other receiver,
more than 1.5m from the device to be controlled, if it is likely to generate interfe-
rence (neon, flash, etc.),
high up (approx. 2.2 m),
connected to a 230 V - 50 Hz protected and isolatable mains power supply.
Do not install it:
directly on a metal wall,
too close to an electric device generating interference: electricity meter, telephone installation, com-
puter, etc.,
less than 1 m from a water pipe,
in a room with a water supply.
Warning: switch off the power supply before any intervention.
