Release the saw head
Press the release (3) in, press the saw head
down and hold it in position. Release the
lock pin (19) so that the saw head can freely
move up and down.
Setting the mitre angle
Loosen the lock knob for the mitre angle
(8). Loosen the release (6) for the saw bench
(10) and turn it to the required mitre angle
(max. 45° to the left). The angle can be
read on the scale (9) at the front of the saw
bench. Tighten the lock knob and check
that the saw bench cannot move.
The release (3) can be set for the most
popular angles: 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45°.
Always remember to tighten the lock knob.
Setting the bevel angle
Release the bevel angle lock knob (17)
on the rear of the saw head, and tip the
saw head to the desired angle (0-45° from
vertical). Retighten the lock knob. You can
read the bevel angle on the angle gauge
(18).
Sawing
Adjust the mitre and bevel angle, if
necessary.
Check that the mitre saw is correctly set up
and that all knobs and screws are correctly
tightened before starting to saw.
Position the workpiece up against the saw
bench and guide so that it is stable. Always
secure the workpiece with clamps or similar.
Never hold the workpiece in place by hand.
Press the release (3) in so that the saw head
can be lowered. Press the on/off button (2)
on the handle (1) and allow the mitre saw
to reach full speed before starting to cut the
workpiece.
The blade guard (4) will open automatically
when the blade (5) comes into contact with
the workpiece.
Do not try to force the saw to either side.
Release the on/off button immediately if the
blade gets stuck in the workpiece.
Release the on/off button once sawing is
complete and lift the saw head to the raised
position.
Check that the blade guard closes when the
saw is lifted off the workpiece.

Replacing the blade

Raise the saw head to its highest position so
that it locks in position.
Remove screws B and C and tip the
protective guard and blade guard up.
