Service, maintenance and disposal
General
Regular and preventive maintenance of the pipe welding torch are important fac-
tors in achieving problem-free operation. The welding torch is subjected to high
temperatures and high levels of soiling. This is why the welding torch needs more
frequent maintenance than other components of the welding system.
IMPORTANT! Avoid scoring and scratching when removing welding spatter.
Welding spatter that develops during further operation could permanently solidi-
fy in scores and scratches. The use of a welding parting agent is recommended to
prevent welding spatter deposits.
Never bend the torch body.
