
When removing the grill plates, make sure that no liquids drip into the inside of the

appliance.


The activated carbon lters cannot be cleaned. Depending on use, the lters should
be replaced once a year. A lter that has become greasy, sti or dusty is a clear sign

that it needs to be replaced.

Remove the grill plates, the extractor hood and the exhaust lter from the appliance.
Clean the grill plates, the hood, the exhaust lter, the pans and the spatulas in warm
soapy water.

All parts except the activated carbon lters and the appliance base are dishwasher-safe
•
Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
•
Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning before reassembling or storing the appli-
ance.

5 Troubleshooting

Mains plug not plugged in.
This is normal when you use
the appliance for the rst
time.
Grill plates or pans are dirty.
Action
Plug in the mains plug.
Operate the appliance for at
least 20 minutes at maximum
temperature before rst use.
Switch o the appliance. Allow
it to cool completely and clean
it as described under "Cleaning
and Care. "
